KVK West Siang Conducted Farmers Training and Method Demonstration in NICRA-TDC village Disi
KVK West Siang conducted one day training Programme on Plant Protection Measures in Pulse Crops on 12th August, 2016 at NICRA-TDC Village Disi. Dr. Kangabam Suraj Singh SMS-Plant Protection briefly explained in management of diseases and insect pest in pulse crops. After the training method demonstration was also conducted in seed treatment for pulse seed storage and soil solarization technique. 38 numbers of rural youth, farmer women, men and village level climate risk management committee members were participated.
All farmers were enthusiastically participated and appreciated this training programme. The programme was concluded successfully with a vote of thanks to the villagers and KVK West Siang team by Mr. Token Riba, Village level Climate Risk Management committee member of Disi Village.
